Have nerves ever gotten the better of you? Have you competed worse than you trained for? Have you lost concentration during a match, causing you to miss a pass?

These are normal situations in sport. Many great athletes have gone through some of these questions. Leo Messi, Carolina Marín and Pau Gasol, among others, have put themselves in the hands of mental training professionals.

Why? To overcome these “barriers” and train their psychological abilities and skills, in short, to become stronger. On many occasions, the technical, tactical and physical aspects are not enough to achieve optimal performance. That is why it is necessary to work on the mental part to perform at your best.

Sports psychology trains and enhances all the variables that influence sports performance and well-being, both for the athlete and for all the agents involved in the sporting practice. For example, at an individual level, maintaining the right attention and concentration to take a penalty. And at a group level, working on communication and relationships between players and coaching staff, to achieve the different objectives set.

Fútbol Grassroots Internacional offers athletes added value to their training, sports psychology, from Mind Your Brain. Mind Your Brain has professionals specialized in different sports, with football being one of its star sports. Its objective is to enhance technical, tactical and physical training from the mental aspect so that the athlete reaches their best version both on and off the field of play.
