How can I get my team to participate in the tournament?

I download the dossier to communicate it to the parents, after their approval, I fill out the registration form and send it to the International Grassroots Football office. You can also contact them here.

How can I finance the trip and the tournament?

International Soccer Cup will provide the club with a voucher with 200 numbers for each participating player staying free of charge (valued at €400.00). This way, players can finance the costs of the football tournament of their choice and participate for free. Depending on where they come from, more numbers can be requested.

How can I involve parents?

I will invite the parents of the players to a meeting after training to explain in detail the characteristics of the trip and the tournament. To do this, I will contact the offices of Fútbol Grassroots International, to find out if someone in charge of the organization can attend the meeting to give more exact details. If this possibility is not available in my region, I will request all possible information from the offices in Madrid or Barcelona or I will even keep in touch with them by phone during the meeting to resolve any possible doubts.

Is parental approval enough?

Normally yes, but once you have registered the team for the tournament, it is very important to request a payment for registration and confirmation of place from the parents and to establish a monthly payment plan to gradually amortize the total cost of the participants. With this deposit, I make sure that the parents will not back out, leaving me alone in the project. On the other hand, the club’s approval (request for luggage) must be obtained in order to represent the entity in an international youth football tournament.

Should each participant pay directly into the International Grassroots account?

No. I will have to collect the money from the parents’ contributions and make the payments to Fútbol Base Internacional, as I receive the money, preferably monthly. The first payment will only be a registration fee.

What is the next step after registering for the International Soccer Cup?

International Soccer Cup sends me confirmation of pre-registration with the key to send the squad data and a Pro-forma invoice for the tournament. I will keep the transfer receipts for payments on account until the cancellation of the total group due to possible changes in participants and therefore the total amount four weeks before the start of the tournament.

Should I book my trip with International Soccer Cup?

No. Fútbol Base Internacional organiza puntualmente el viaje desde el Aeropuerto al hotel en caso de contratarlo, pero desde otras regiones debo buscar el traslado adecuado que me proporcione un buen precio y un mejor servicio.

Can I take out insurance with International Soccer Cup?

This is not necessary as International Soccer Cup provides sports accident insurance.

When do I get more detailed tournament information, such as accommodation and match times?

After the last payment has been made and approximately one week before the start of the tournament, International Soccer Cup sends me the name of the hotel, its telephone number and the location where it is located, it also sends me the schedules of the matches that we will play during the tournament, the name of the opposing teams in our group as well as the location of each match. In addition, it informs us of the distance between the different fields and our hotel and the agent who will guide us from the point of arrival to the hotel.
