Disability Area
Inclusion and Integration

Nowadays we see that Sport for People with Disabilities is usually approached only from a social and recreational perspective and not from a High Performance perspective.

That is why Football for People with Disabilities should be considered as another discipline within the world of high-level sports football.

Furthermore, this high-performance football can and should continue to coexist with the development of sport in a more social and recreational sense and even feed off of it, but aiming at professional football with this population.

Our idea is to develop the classic structure of Football (Children, Youth and Senior) in the Clubs of the world leagues. Local tournaments organized by the National Associations, regional competitions in conjunction with government governance, strengthening of the National Teams of each country and with the development of World Competitions.

The International Soccer Cup Disability Area will work on these three axes:
1

Campuses in Spain and other countries, with training for coaches, physical education teachers and physical trainers.

2

The holding of youth football tournaments, with a formative and competitive character.

It will cover football with mental, visual, hearing and motor disabilities.

Regarding players with mental disabilities, the following categories will be considered:

– Mild level

– Moderate

– With Down Syndrome

– Autism

Advice and consultancy for the creation of Disability Areas in clubs, town councils, civil entities, etc.

To encourage and increase the participation of People with Disabilities and develop high-performance football. The main objective is to involve the Clubs of each country, for the development of a conogram of national and world Competitions as subsequent steps.

To grow Football for People with Disabilities we must generate economic resources to support it. To do so we must aim to ensure that this discipline is not seen as part of a CSR program, but as a commercially designed product.

FBI and its Area professionals develop Education and Awareness Programs so that people from clubs or entities aim for a comprehensive view of disability and inclusive practices.

The Accessibility and Hospitality Program in football stadiums and other disciplines will provide support for the accessibility and comfort of people with disabilities. Evaluating and designing infrastructure policies. In addition to the creation of protocols within the stadium, approach, containment and comfort in sports events for this segment of the population.
